DDI Completes Seven Tower Bridge

Daroff Design Inc + DDI Architects, PC (DDI) is excited to announce the recent completion of Seven Tower Bridge, the only new Class A office tower to deliver in the Philadelphia region since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 14-story, 260,000-SF riverfront office tower continues to garner attention as the Philadelphia region’s most productive and sustainable location for the post-pandemic workforce.

Leading global private markets firm, Partners Group, and co-developers American Real Estate Partners (AREP) and Oliver Tyrone Pulver Corporation (OTP) selected DDI as interior design architect for the two pre-built tenant offices on the fifth floor, as well as the elevator lobby, corridor, and OTP’s corporate offices.

The DDI design team aligned with the ownership team’s goals to deliver an innovative and wellness-driven workplace. Joining the project at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, DDI researched a variety of healthy, safe materials and finishes. Through meticulous planning efforts, DDI developed layouts that deliver flexible social and collaboration spaces that are priorities in the post-pandemic office. The result was a clean, elegant design, light-filled spaces, beautiful views, energetic textures, sustainable materials, and flexible offices.

For its own corporate office design, OTP sought a sleek and minimalistic concept. DDI expanded that style in the pre-built suites to introduce warmth and texture to create a dynamic, boutique feel that combines the comfort and flexibility of home with the contemporary feel and streamlined efficiency of the office. The designers selected clean, modern finishes for the walls, workstations, overhead cabinetry, and solid surface countertops. Wood-look base cabinets and baffle ceiling elements, along with a soft grey carpet selection, help create a sense of warmth and comfort. Keeping in line with the contemporary design concept throughout, the private offices and conference rooms have glass fronts with minimalist, black metal framing. Collaborative areas are dispersed within each office space to serve the need for more gathering among employees while at the office. Each tenant space includes a conference room, open workspace, and an adjacent pantry island that serves as an efficient, counter-height surface for impromptu meetings.

The building’s nine-foot windows deliver spectacular views of the Schuylkill River valley and Conshohocken skyline. Constructed over four levels of structured parking, the building offers panoramic views from every office floor. Natural sunlight streams into the all areas of the clear-span floors, with glass-fronted offices allowing employees to experience the brightness and views even from the interior workspaces.
