DDI served as signage and wayfinding consultant on the new Baggage Claim Building, as part of the existing renovation to Terminal F. The two story 24,500 sq. ft. baggage claim hall is a light-filled and dynamic space, in contrast to most baggage claims, utilitarian and relegated to a lower level.

Working with static and dynamic signage, DDI worked with the architects and the airport to create improved passenger orientation, efficient movement of crowds through the space and positive passenger experience. This LEED Gold certified project is the first LEED certified project to be completed for the Division of Aviation at Philadelphia International Airport and was recently awarded a AIA Philadelphia Honor Award.
