DDI designed the new casino environment for Philadelphia Park Casino and Racetrack™, one of the first properties to begin operations under Pennsylvania’s new gaming legislation. The design objective was to transform the thirty-year-old racetrack into an exciting “casino” venue as hip and energized as any casino in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The project scope includes a 130,000-sq-ft gaming and entertainment facility containing approximately 2,000 slot machines. Guest facilities include two restaurants, two bars, a VIP lounge and two gaming floors and was designed and constructed on an accelerated schedule of six months from schematic design through completion and construction.
