Karen Daroff, IIDA
President + Design Principal
Since launching Daroff Design over five decades ago, Karen has led the firm to national and international prominence. She has received numerous awards, across a multitude of practice groups, including the prestigious Contract Magazine Designer of the Year Award and the HD Platinum Circle Hall of Fame. Active in civic affairs, she is a graduate of Moore College of Art and Design and has served as a trustee at Moore and the University of the Arts. Karen is also an advisory board member for several professional publications, and a member of the Philadelphia Film Office and the Philadelphia Art Museum Decorative Arts Committee. Karen is a frequent critic or speaker to architecture and interior design students, and at national design conventions. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling to exotic locations and scuba diving.
