Daroff Design: Interior Designer for Durst Organization

Daroff Design Inc. engaged by Durst Organization to provide Interior Design Services for New 360 Unit Vine Street Multi-Family Housing Project

Daroff Design Inc. was engaged in 2019 by The Durst Organization as the interior designer for the developer’s inaugural Philadelphia project, a 360-unit apartment building on Vine Street. The Durst Organization, an internationally recognized real estate development company in New York City, is spearheading the revitalization of this riverfront neighborhood.

Durst received permits for the 26-story waterfront tower that includes numerous amenities, lower-level parking for 108 vehicles, and 10,000 square feet of retail space to engage the public, as well as residents. The site includes outdoor green space to encourage a sense of community and to take advantage of the prime views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.

In order to deliver a premier amenity package that is competitive in the flourishing multi-family market, Daroff Design conducted detailed market research in the city and beyond. The objective was to include ample attractive offerings to meet the needs of residents and to design these spaces at a high level to impress prospects. Daroff Design developed an impressive lobby to welcome residents and visitors that combined visual references to the building’s location along the waterfront with a contemporary aesthetic. This same design concept also flowed through the other first floor public areas including the leasing offices, mailroom, and elevator lobby.

Other members of the project team include Handel Architects, The Harman Group, The Lighting Practice, Starr Whitehouse, Bala Engineering, and The Hunter Roberts Construction Group.
