Daroff Design Inc. + DDI Architects, PC is implementing the necessary precautions to safeguard our employees, clients, consultants, manufacturers and dealers from COVID-19. As recommended by the CDC and Philadelphia governing agencies, we will be closing our office until it is deemed healthy to return to the routine work day. In order to protect our team from public commutes and group encounters, our staff will be working remotely until the office reopen is announced. Our IT team has well prepared for these circumstances. We will all be working from our homes with remote access to our computers, and we feel confident in our ability to continue to provide as high level service as possible.
Nonessential travel, in-person meetings, and site visits will be rescheduled or postponed in an effort to support social distancing and mitigate the potential spread of illness. Our technological equipment allows many forms of virtual meetings and we look forward to communicating with our clients, consultants and colleagues via video or phone for the near future.

Amanda Noumoff, an NCDIQ-certified Senior Interior Designer, has recently been promoted to an Associate at Daroff Design Inc. Amanda has been with Daroff Design Inc. + DDI Architects PC (DDI) for over five years and plays an integral role in the team’s workplace and hospitality projects. Exhibiting significant leadership to the junior level staff, Amanda has a proven track record of delivering clients’ visions in both corporate and hotel settings. Notable clients of Amanda’s include: Comcast Corporation, NBCUniversal, Sheetz, the Philadelphia International Airport, Loews and MGM.
DDI, teamed with L.R. Kimball Architects, was selected to plan and design Sheetz Corporation’s new approximately 100,000 SF office building in Claysburg, PA. Third generation Sheetz management understood that a well-designed workplace would improve employee performance and job satisfaction, promote a healthy culture, and reinforce brand philosophy. For DDI, it was an outstanding opportunity to leverage their expertise as leaders in the hospitality industry and apply it in the workplace and learning environment.
Daroff Design and OTG recently completed two new restaurants, El Premio and Forno Magico, at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport. OTG Vice President of Culinary Nate Appleman, a James Beard Award-winning chef, designed both concepts. El Premio offers Houston-inspired Tex-Mex, and Forno Magico has a selection of Neapolitan style pizzas, salads and small plates.
PIDC has moved up, literally, and we couldn’t be more excited! We’ve packed up and moved to a not-so-distant location within our same Centre Square building on 1500 Market Street. We are now in new office space on the 35th floor with a revamped look. Our new space has been designed to help PIDC be more efficient and effective at achieving our mission — driving growth to every corner of Philadelphia.
